Is Oral Surgery Painful?
Honestly, many patients are surprised at how little discomfort they feel both during and after the procedure. We pride ourselves on offering multiple sedation options to help our patients feel more relaxed and enjoy a stress-free procedure.
What to Expect Before and After Oral Surgery
Before any surgical procedure, we’ll evaluate your oral and overall health, walk you through your treatment plan and provide clear instructions for preparation. This may include avoiding food or drink before your appointment or arranging for someone to drive you home.
After your procedure, you may experience some swelling, discomfort, or mild bleeding depending on the procedure you had. This is all normal and manageable with the instructions we provide. Most patients recover quickly and are back to their normal routine in just a few days.
